Crystal.
The
term crystal glass stands for
clear (untarnished), perfectly
discoloured glass
of high brilliance, ie high
glance, light refraction,
translucency, glistering
etc. The colour and the
brilliance of the glass depends
on the composition and
proportioning of raw material
and the associated process
quality.
Crystal
when properly cut had the
magnificent ability to disperse
light into the colour
components of the visible
spectrum with almost
diamond
like brilliance. The
richer the design, the more
facets to reflect light, the
more
precise the cut
and ultimately the more
valuable the crystal. It should
be noted that each piece
of true hand-cut crystal is a
unique product of the
individual
artisan who have
produced it.
All
hand-cut crystal is certainly
not
the same. This only serves to
